Furniture Foldabilization in the News

Howard's paper has been drawing attention from SFU News, and a variety of media outlets from around the world.

The algorithm automatically calculates how a particular piece of furniture can be redesigned to become completely foldable and stackable, and will be presented at the upcoming SIGGRAPH conference.

In addition to helping create space-saving designs, the algorithm aims to help designers avoid complex and tedious calculations so they can focus on the creative aspects of their work. So far, the project has been featured on the South China Morning Post, the Asian Pacific Post, and 3DPrint.com. For up-to-date coverage and further technical details, please refer to the project page.
